Went to Pasifika yesterday! Another awesome event…I must say though the venue seems to get smaller and smaller each year. They moved the Contemporary stage to the other side of MOTAT and it was still packed! Basically, we spent most of our time at the Cook Islands stage…eating..dancing…eating…singing…oh and did I say eating. Yes, once again the food was ‘off the hook’. There were queues everywhere! Our very own Prime Minister Helen Clark and a few of her fellow colleagues graced the Cook Islands stage with their presence! We also got to see our very own Krystina Kauvai – Miss Cook Island 2006 and Miss South Pacific 2006. The weather was very hot, fortunately we had a great spot right next to the stage and just under the trees! Couldn’t have been a better day! Roll on Pasifika 2008.
